Glory from the east is where the Sun rises. The Sun & the Son was God's Glory. The Messiah Messenger. And Israel is in the East.
In tabernacle of Moses & his brother Priest Aaron, East is the direction of which the incense was set, where gold curtains were hung and where the Sun rose.
All these things are symbolic. From the color (yellow/gold), direction (east), item of worship (incense), to the element (air). The things listed here are masculine in nature, meaning the Male Chrsit. (East/Air)
Jesus was called the Rising Star. The Son/Sun

God's Glory is referring to His Messengers. All His Messengers have come from the East.
The prophecy is that the Seventh Angel (Prophet) (Rev. 10:7)will come from the East and Shine in the West.
What 'shines in the West"????
That Prophet brings the Revelation of God for the first time in the West known as the Book Sealed with 7 Seals - Revelation 5:1
Only the Seventh Prophet reveals the whole truth - 'mystery of God is finished.

Because American continent had immigrants from Europe...East of the Atlantic. The notion of an only God omnipotent, in a monoteist concept, comes from the jew religion- (I appologize if I am using a wrong word to call that comunity. In these times, we do not know what is politically right or wrong), -then adopted by Christians who spread it all over the occidental world. Spaniards brought their catholic religion to New Spain, and protestants brought theirs to North America. One only God.

Because the authors of the book(s) didn't know as much as they thought. They expected their bs religion to not last a two thousand year reich, so they kept the concepts local.
