Getting married isn't going to be the issue - being able to legally live in one country or the other is going to be what's going to take some doing. I can't think of what the "fiance visa" is in the states, but I know to move up to Canada under these circumstances, you will want to apply for a Family Class visa.

The best thing to do is to go to Canada and marry your love there. Then, it's fairly easy to get a wife visa for admittance to the U.S.
