Absolutely. I have no use for this body once I am dead. I love the idea of being in heaven and knowing that one of my body parts may save someones life or teach a scientist how to prevent a disease or death.

NEVER! If you read the book STIFF by Mary Roach or other ones that talk about donating bodies, you'll discover that the people who accept them aren't as altruistic as you would think. First of all, medical schools aren't receiving as many bodies as they used to. Also, they are using computers to do dissections. Bodies are sometimes "traded" to other groups--like the army who does studies of how much weight needs to be put down on a land mine before it blows the person up. They put cadaver legs in the army boot and experiment. Others are used as real crash test dummies. Some bodies are sent to Body Farms (like the ones mentioned in an episode of CSI and also in one of Patricia Cornwell's books) where they are laid out in the open under all kinds of weather and natural environmental conditions so scientists can learn about decomposition, etc. These are just a few of the examples you can read about. Look for books on Forensic Science for others besides the STIFF book I mentioned.
I will say in defense of those doing the investigating, that at the end of the experiments or autopsies, memorial services are held and the families can attend if they wish to. Usually the remains are cremted. They do show respect, yes, and they can learn about diseases and help fight crime, but I don't want my body to end up that way. And the families aren't told where the body's going when it's been donated. You just assume some nice med student is going to have you for a semester.

I would donate some of the important stuff, the organs to help save peoples lives, but besides that, I wouldn't want someone poking and proding at my body. I think it would be a little wierd, even though I would be dead.

I would donate my organs, but I probably wouldn't leave my body to science. It wouldn't bother me a bit. :)

I might as well, I'm not taking it with me and I don't really want to be buried or cremated.
