Funny you should mention that. I was just listening to "Brother Louie" by The Stories on Limewire.
I don't see why black people & white people can't marry. Color shouldn't make any difference.

I don't have a problem with it but it is a problem in some areas. so it may make for extra problems in a marriage--but i know a lot of mixed couples that have been married for decades and are very happy. If someone can deal with outside issues and maybe family issues--I say go for it

Questions of this nature sounds so outdated or from so in the bigoted past. In these days and times, If both people love each other, who in the heck cares.

hell yeah, you should marry the person you love. and why is black and white such a big deal?? I am white and if I married an indian or mexican no one would say as much, that pisses me off.

simple answer is... if two people love each other and want to get married (and their religion permits it..or they want to go against their religion)..THEY SHOULD MARRY
It's better to marry because you love someone isn't it?? Why marry if not in love??? that = divorce!
If i was pink and fancied a purple and pink polka dot man.. and i loved him..I'd marry him!! Would make cute babies too:-)
Colour is only colour.. it's who the person is and what they do for you and how they treat you and how much you love them.. that matters.. simple as!

If they want to, then color should be no boundary for people in love.
However, you have to consider how other people in the family are going to consider it. It may not be the best thing to do if your new-to-be family members would be staunchly opposed to it. You also have to consider what environment the kids are going to grow up in.

I just skimmed through the answers and no one is against it. A few years ago that wouldn't have been the case. That's enough to make me think that we're making progress.

If they decide to who can stop them? It is however advisable to sit down and coolly analyze the various family, public, religious situations. Acceptability to both the families and communities and then proceed.
