I just moved to a new city and met this wonderful guy. He is sweet (he came to my house to introduce himself) and athletic (I love playing sports) and everyone I know is telling me he likes me and thinks I'm hot and what ever. I want to ask him out but I'm worried he'll turn me down b/c I'm not like the other girls around here. I'm kind of punk and the other girls who've said they've dated him are preps. I also want to find a way other than just asking or passing a note...need idea's people.

This guy seems to like you because you are not like those other girls!
Maybe you could invite him to play some sport, then you would know him better, then it will get easier to invite him on something that wouldn't look too much like a date (you don't want to be THAT obvious).

He introduced himself you said and everyone is telling u he likes u. So where is the problem? U both like each other. Invite him to a place for fun or sports or anything in group. Find really what he feels about you and if u are special for him when u go out in a group before u invite him in a real date. Be on the safe side.

First of all, he likes you b/c you're different. Prep, punk, whatever you are go with your style. Personally, I like it when a girl asks me out or suggests we do something. It says she has overcome this social stigma that girls shouldn't be forward. If you think he's nice ask him what he likes to do. Then tell him you would like to tag along with him doing xyz because it sounds like fun and that you've never done that. He'll think he's in control and that he is showing an innocent pretty girl something new. He'll feel good but you need to give him feedback that you're interested. He has already approached you so ....

I am a guy and I think it is sexy when a girl approaches me. You just need to wait to you catch him when you two are alone and where you can talk in private and let him know how you feel, If he likes you he wont care if youre a punk or prep, Hint I am a guy and Im not going to introduce myself if I dont like you, The guy likes you but is probably feeling the same way you feel

It does seem you two have alot in common from my understandings.However,i think that if he's crazy about you he won't care if your punk,prep,sporty,emo,gothic,sexy,shy,or whattever else there is out there.My point is ask him out girl!
He may really like you and you may never know the ending to this fairy tale unless you try,and I know you can do it! Hey may say no,ahe may say yes but don't worry about it! Maybe if you have his address send him a letter just telling him about yourself,and glad you moved here such things like that.Then after a while ask him out! Go for it Girl! Nothing ventured nothing gamed..whats a life of hiding? Good Luck!

if most people u know tell u he has got the hots for u then most probably he has. just ask him, dont get creative at the wrong time, wont work. be confident about urself, u r giving him a chance to date someone that is different from the other girls he had dated. think about that when u ask him out

Well he showed up at your door to welcome you, why don't you invite him to your place for dinner. Tell him that his stopping by was so sweet that you have to repay the favor. If you can't cook order out and put it on nice plates. Get to know him and see where it leads. I have recently found out that guys like a girl who can be a little forward, swallow your pride and ask him, before another girl does. If you are so scared to confront him send him a thank you card and slip a "ticket" inside stating "One dinner with yours truly, on me". He'll get the idea.

i dont think u should ask him out...a guy is supposed to do that not the girl. its the mans job to buy the girl things. its the mans job to take u to a movie. and by him introducing himself he sounds like a man. i have the same situation too! i like this guy and i want to ask him out but i'm scared he'll turn me down...but GOOD LUCK TO U!!

2 myself the best way a girl asked me out is writing me love poems.Or u can ask him in a subtle way so u wont be as nervous.Although u can also e-mail him that always works.(if ur gonna try the poems dont come one a little 2 strong start lightly and then work ur way up)
