Before I knew what love was..
I gave it my own definition
I said it had to be
An escape that allowed me to be free

It must make my heart
Step out of its box
And want to risk it all
For this thing called “love”

Sometimes I wonder
If it was possible to love someone
So much that they woke up with you
And shut eyes in unison

Before I knew what love was…
I found myself falling
Falling for you…in many ways
I saw in you…me

Before I knew what love was…
I loved you…
And I couldn’t help it
I wanted to…keep loving you

This was all before I looked into your eyes
And knew what love was!
