My cat was 13 when he was killed by a dog. He probably had about 2 more years in him. Miss you Kiwi!

Depending on what has happened in it's life. They can usually live a long time though. My cat is already 4, but so far I have had a cat live up to 7. As long as they are treated right, and get there shots on time, and stuff, they live for awhile. I'd say at least 9 -13 years. maybe longer, or shorter like i said it depends on the cat.

The average lifespan of a cat is 15-20 years. Not long enough if you ask me. There have been cats to live well into their 20s though.

House cats live anywhere from between 11-15 years on average. This is if they are spayed or neutered, which improves their general health and lifespan. Feral cats only live about 3 years. It is not uncommon for a healthy housecat to live even 19-20 years.

I worked at a cat boarding facility for 5 years, and the oldest cat I ever saw was 26. It's pretty rare to have cats live over the age of 20; over the age of 10 they are elderly. I guess I'd say from 12 to 18 years, depending.
Different breeds tend to live longer than others--breeds whose health has been adversely affected by generations of inbreeding and breeding for dangerous traits, such as Persians, won't live as long and may be prone to more health problems.

A cat can live about 10-16 years. It depends on how well you take care of it.

A cat can live about twelve to fifteen years. I had a cat that lived to be eighteen. This tough but cats are better off living in the house. They will live longer then. Mine now live indoors and there are plenty of windows to look out of.

My cat is 18. I have 2 friends who have cats over 25. I think a good limit would be 28, comparable to 105 for people.
There's a lot of literature that says indoor cats usually live twice as long as outdoor cats. My Gracie is an indoor-only kitty.
