Amen. And radical, intolerant bigotry is becoming the hallmark of Christianity. The reason is that faith is the opposite of doubt in the Christian religion and that is a sin; doubt and tolerance are incompatible with the belief that the Bible is the absolute, literal word of God. That also is the reason that many people are becoming increasingly secular. As the world becomes better educated and more democratic, people will become more secular, more tolerant and less religious. The current data indicate this is accurate.

1st thing not all people are like what u said-rascist. there are people who listen , maybe u didnt have a chance to meet them.
2nd, if they treatu like that then its not necesary that u should bad mouth about a prophet, a man who was also a role model for muslims too. if u react the same way then there is no difference between them and u.
but there are some mischeif makers who do that becoz they beleive that jesus-pbuh asked everybody to get converted to his faith. some want to act like missionaries just to fill their po9ckets.
and they think they are the ones who follow the 10 commandments strictly without breaking even a single one. but the whole world knows how much they practise their faith.
finally they have preists to whom they could go and confess, and the preist would forgive them and their sins will be forgiven. but its not like that in other religions. other religions and most christians beleive that man will be judged by his deeds on earth.
finally they have made jesus-pbuh as their sacrificial lamb, saying that jesus-pbuh has died for their sins, so now it doesnt matter to them as they can commit any amount of sin and jesus-pbuh will have to pay the price.
i really feel sorry that u asked such a question, its not good thing to bad mouth a prophet of God. God had sent him for us so that he may deliver the word of God. so next time be a little considerate and soft spoken
may the peace and blessings of Allah be with us and may He guide us on the right path.

Though I am not a Christian or for that matter belong to any religion, I don't think it is right for you to ask such a question. If Christians behave the way they do then they are hypocrites and shouldn't be called a Christian. Just think of them as ignorant human beings. Many fantical Christians hate everyone who doesn't believe like they do and curse them and spout a lot of nonesense. That does not mean we should behave the same way.

I am sorry that people who call themselves Christians have not displayed the christ like attitudes they should be. I am guessing those who you have had a bad experience with are not true CHristains but are ones that claim to be because they are not jewish so they assume thats makes them christians since they believe Jesus was God. Thats not all there is to it, but some think so. So on behalf of christians I apologize for their rudeness. We are not really as they portrayed us. and i dont know what gave you the idea about the anal rapped ? you are asking about but that never happened to Jesus.

I am a Christian, and I do agree that many Christians are extremely ignorant to the rest of the world and are easily offended. I do think they get easily offended because people ask them questions they dont know how to answer. So the easiest defense towards that is to poke fun or bad-mouth another religion. Many Christians lack the proper education in the ability to defend their faith. I studied other religions to help me understand my own, and it also helped me respect other religions/people more than I already did. And I'll say I dont know the answer to your question, but I do understand your frustration with Christians.

Don't get so angry about it! The real spirit of Christianity, as of all major religions, is love for all so those people that put on such questions you've mentioned shouldn't be considered REAL Christians. Do you think the guys from Al-Quaeda are REAl Muslims? I dno't think so...
As for your question about Jesus being raped, when I think about it, it might be possible. He was held in prison with soldiers, and we all know what soldiers can be like...
There is no record about the rape, however...

He may have been anally raped. It's not something the authors of the New Testament gospels would have happily included in his passion. The Crucifixion in and of itself was bad enough. The cross may have even had a peg shoved up his rectum. Something to sit on and hold him in place besides the nails in his hands and feet. It is an effective placekeeper but not one most churches or pastors would feel comfortable talking about on good Friday or Resurrection Sunday morning to all the ladies dressed in their best threads. It only makes the truth more convincing that he suffered and died for our sins. The sins of everyone. Anally fixated ones included.

I disagree!! There are no longer 1000's of a thank you to "interpret" the Bible. I study out of the NIV regularly and it rather is exceedingly as we communicate forward.........Christ died for the forgiveness of sins, yours and mine. attractiveness via faith of this actuality is the final way. it rather is made very clean interior the NT and any deviance from this Gospel is unChristian or "Christian-like". There are sooo many Bible believing, Bible coaching church homes obtainable, why might you like evaluate all of the different peripheral crap?? you will no longer even attempt to understand your Bible because it rather is, yet you think of we could continually attempt to understand all the different religions?? C'mon!! And, via the way, your "ethics" don't get you into heaven..........

Very simple, because too many Christians believe that their religion is the only way to go. They are religious fanatics and yahoo doesn't want to get in the way of them for some reason. Maybe they all believe in Jesus too or maybe he's just a taboo subject.

I used to go to Baptist and Pentecostal churches with a friend. The gossip and slander that went around the places was astounding -- all from these people who pretend that they are saved and are following the ways of jesus. I overheard two Pentecostal ministers talking about black people in a very disturbing manner.
It's good that we can recognize hypocrisy and hatred when we see it, and expose it for what it is. Nobody needs to be brain-washed by self-righteous religious people who pretend to be sincere.
