No religion can with hold ones right to conscience and faith.

That way, we are all born to parents who have faith in some religion or the other and there is a tendency these days to idenify oneself with some organised religion or the other. That way the whole mankind is seen as a devided whole under various religions.

For no reason, many Muslims suffer the general suspicion against Terrorists, just by their name sake, when they move out in circles where you are not known. Many educated Muslims have got obviously disgusted with the recent developments due to activities by the fanatics. Where will it end no body knows! But your need to change to some other religion may require rethinking. If you are in a closed society, you may take time to get mixed up in the group of persons accepting you as one of them. So, in such cases, one gets married and through the institution of marriage it becomes easier to change ones faith. Religion has become a hall mark of group identity, these days. For this reason Hinduism is an open society in faith and conscience.

Not sure if you can be accepted in Judaism but in Hinduism, you will be accepted as the lowest cast.

If someone told you that you can't convert from Islam to other religion, they are very very wrong. What good is a person who doesn't want to follow the religion to the religion?

Only suggestion I can give you is this time give some intensive time to the religion you are planning to convert to and do not bow down to something that is created by the human hands... Like a statue.

You have the choice to change your religion according to the verse that says :[2.256] There is no compulsion in religion; truly the right way has become clearly distinct from error;
but I'm not sure if you'll be accepted among the Jews/Hindus! you Should ask them that. I kind of know that you have to be born a Jew to be considered a real Jew. not sure about Hinduism.

well Allah has given u permission to do as per u like. there is no supression that u should not get converted. Allah has given u the FREEWILL. so u can very well decide which religion u want to get into.

but i cannot gaurantee that any man has a big heart that may accept u or may be they may accept u. so go ahead and follow ur heart.

but i really wonder why someone would take a foolish decision like that. but anyways when Allah does not stop u the i have no right. at the end of the day, ur decision will always be respected and u will be loved the same way as before.

so follow ur heart. and peace and blessings of Allah be to u.

before converting, u may like to ask urself why u would like to change religion?

n even before that, u would have to ask urself, n be honest, whether or not u have practised Islam as a way of life, and not simply bcoz u were born as a Muslim.

these days, sadly, there are many born Muslims who take Islam for granted, as a "traditional" religion. if u notice, usually those who converted to Islam from other religions tend to be more pious, religious and practise the true Islam, rather than those born as Muslims. maybe u should give urself a chance and perhaps more time to learn, discover and understand Islam before u make such a big and important decision. =)

Qur'an 2:256.
Let there be no compulsion in religion: Truth stands out clear from Error: whoever rejects evil and believes in Allah hath grasped the most trustworthy hand-hold, that never breaks. And Allah heareth and knoweth all things.

Yusuf Ali's Quran Translation

I dont know if Jews and Hindus will not accept you. Im not jews and not hindu.

Real Muslims (who know what their holy book says) will never force you to stay in Islam or force you to become Muslim. But some Muslims who have little knowledge will, yeah... you know.

Yes, you have just as much rights as anyone. I only ask that you do some research and then convert to the religion that you can believe in.. Don't let anyone tell you what you should believe.

Muslims can convert. My friend's uncle converted to Christianity. But I've heard that Judaism doesn't allow converts unless you marry a Jew or have Jews in your family. Hinduism might however.

Not in Islam, but God wants you to choose Him. Seek & you shall find. You can find Him in the Holy Bible. Jesus said, "I AM the Way, Truth & Life. No one comes to the Father except through me.".

For God so loved the World that He gave His Only Begotten Son that whosoever believes in Him will not perish but will have everlasting life.

The wages of sin is death, but the Gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus.

Did you know that everyone has sinned somewhere or somehow? You have. Jesus shed His own blood for the remission of your sins & rose from the dead for your justification.

God loves you sooo much. The LORD God is one LORD.

God the Father, Son & Holy Spirit.

Added later. Your asking a question that is a God given right to everyone. Perfect religion before God is helping the widows, Orphans, etc... and keeping self spotless from sinful living.

The bible writes more about having faith in God than religions. Let go of religion & let God into your heart.
