It can be very difficult, especially when booze is involved. Most folks still agree, though, that it's the best policy. Now, I've known two couples who were into the swinging lifestyle. I was not; I was single at the time. One couple broke up and one stayed together, seemingly happy, for more than twenty years before perishing in an auto accident. Of all the other people whom I've known well enough to be able to discuss the topic of intimate relationships, every one had, by the time I met them, had a number of sexual encounters, but none besides the two couples mentioned would agree that playing the field is a good idea. Some had profoundly religious reasons while others simply found the idea impractical. All thought that cheating was a no-no. The consensus was and probably still is for all of them: work hard at making a marriage work. If it does not work out, don't step out: get help to resolve the issues or get a divorce. Once legally and morally free, THEN one can look for fresh nookie.

I think it depends on the person. Some women could really like sex and not want to be with only one parnter. There are some men who would rather just be with that one girl. It depends.

Of course is not realistic! Well, in fact, may be for the women is, but for the men - no way for that!

Considering about 75% of men and 47% of women cheat at one point or another, I'm not too sure about that, friend.

I think that it is realistic if you want to be monomogus...but if you're playing and unsure of wether or not you want a relationship, then stick to the bar flies...
