Kosher means that it has been supervised and authorized by a Rabbi. Usually, very orthodox Jewish people eat only Kosher foods. I really never understood why but I believe that it has to do with tradition among other things. Kosher foods imply that they have been "okayed" by a rabbi and therefore it is not contaminated by anything. There IS a slight difference in the way things are made. For example, beef. Usually, the animals are slaughtered through electricity or a very hard head blow. Kosher beef is killed by cutting the animal's throat. Supposedly this makes it more pure and less poluted because animals tend to release adrenaline when they die the other way and the meet gets contaminated. Furthermore, as I said, the rabbi is there to make sure that everything is done propperly and he certifies it.

Kosher is a term that Jews use to describe foods that are safe for them to eat according to the rules set forth by God in the Bible (Torah). Basically, they can not eat pork (of any kind). They cannot mix milk and meat. There is also a prescribed way of butchering cows and goats and sheep. Any butcher that wants to be Kosher has to be examined by a Rabbi and given a special seal. That is why there are the Jewish National Kosher Beef Franks - they have no pork in them. They are actually much better than Kahn's franks. Try them sometime. Eating kosher is also good for people with a milk allergy.

The first 5 books of the Bible are in the Jewish religion the Torah. They describe very strict laws about worship and how to live holy - set apart - before God.

Kosher means "fit." It means that the food you are buying has been prepared in such a way that a Rabbi considers it fit for consumption based on Jewish law.

For example, no container that is used to cook meat can touch dairy, or even touch another container that touches dairy. In factories, pipelines that food is processed through are sometimes used for different foods. Another example is the way a cow is butchered. Kosher beef only contains certain parts of the cow butchered in a very specific way.

As for the pickles, I'm not really sure. Mostly because I'm not really sure what's involved in pickes except cucumbers & vinegar.

The word kosher actually means "fit". Kosher food has to meet certain standards that are Rabbinically supervised. This is the simple answer. Kosher is very complex but enough said...It's better.

Kosher skill it follows the guidelines of what now to not devour and what to devour in the bible (for christians, who really ever keep on with this) and torah (for jews, who frequently strictly keep on with a kosher weightloss plan). It says you won't be able to devour food like: fish/less than water creatures without scales, shellfish, beef/ any land animal that doesn't chew of the cud or something like that, some birds, and any animal a classic individual might want to by no skill devour also (like a snake or a raccoon). so as meaning a kosher warm canine doesn't have any of the better elements. it has meat so it is no longer vegetarian inspite of the undeniable fact that it doesn't have beef and so on. i opt to imagine of kosher because the in-between chosen of ingesting each thing, unclean and all, and a vegetarian weightloss plan. it says you won't be able to devour the blood of an animal both so something too raw is out of the question and that in uncomplicated words some elements of a sparkling animal might want to correctly be eaten (like that kosher warm canine advertisement that shows the cow and says one 1/2 is kosher and the different 1/2 isn't. that's the same with different meats you may devour) some, more effective stricter regulations are frequently observed by technique of in uncomplicated words rather strict jews inspite of the undeniable fact that. (like grape products might want to be made by technique of jews to devour or drink and also you may't devour dairy products with meat) i'm no longer constructive why human beings confuse kosher with vegetarian yet some kosher regulations are literally not in uncomplicated words about meat, it would want to correctly be about fruit. verify link on my sources for a more effective component evaluation on kosher regulations) I keep on with a kosher weightloss plan because my christian faith helps the former regulations the jews saved so i do not devour food like beef or shrimp. a number of my associates that bypass to my church are also vegetarian or vegan because my faith also helps it yet doesn't enable it. this may be the rationalization because maximum folk who're kosher bypass a touch more effective strict and grow to be vegetarian. i wager maximum each individual is wondered and merely count number on stereotypes they listen from others. yet do not ignore that something vegetarian gained't be kosher because different regulations practice to vegetable yet maximum are kosher.
