My dr has prescribed Lamisil 2x a day for 7 days. Then off 3 weeks and repeat. Has anyone else heard of this?

Lamisil is typically a treatment for some kind of fungus.

It makes sense to treat it, then observe if it has gone away, or if any spores are still growing, then treat it again to eradicate.
