not Texas, not after Katrina...this is why I pulled my kid out and she does virtual school now....

Because they hire teachers that hate children but decided to teach. Some of them could care less if the kids learn anything or not.. as long as they get paid.. They dont realize that the attitude they put off teaching thier classes.. is the attitude these kids are picking up and using thru life.... Teachers need to CARE and go the extra mile.. Its not a factory job where you just punch a clock at 8 and 4!!

It's available, but what makes you say it is "good"? Compared to what? Students can only be as good as the teachers and the material predented allow. Unfortunately, ideals other than learning take the stage in so many of the schools. Parental involvement isn't always what is should be either.

NO...America has a FREE school system available to everyone. There is a difference.
