the best way to learn is shop for a good master who will teach you for a fee. remember expensive does not always mean more knowledge; and more hyped does not mean that he/ she is more experienced. it is better if you can find a master who studied chinese traditional medicine, bec they are complimentary to each other.
you can visit the website of master peter leung: www.fengshuisos.com
but i definitely do not recommend taking classes from caucasian teachers; besides they've learned from the chinese. why not learn from the master rather than from their disciples.
and i do not recommend going through the bookstore nor the internet. because either you end up with lillian too ('s books and courses) (again, disciple, not master) who learned from master yap cheng hai, or the black sect fengshui which is not authentic chinese fengshui, it is like fengshui made easy that does not work!

It's not difficult to learn. Just start with a good basic book, one that has great pictures is the best. If you do a search on Amazon.com most books will allow you a look inside them with just a click of the mouse.
Basically Feng Shui is about keeping the flow of energy going the way it should be in your home. Since I'm sensitive to the feel of energy I can actually sense this, it's a gift I've had since I was a child. It's also some basic imagery for the most part. Like your front door being painted green to welcome in abundance and wealth.
There is much more to Feng Shui, but that's pretty much your basic start. I think you'll find it interesting once you start studying about it.
I'm sure you can find some good sites online too if you do a search at google.com

In my humble opinion, Feng Shui-meaning Wind and Water- is a spiritual art and by practicing it , peole can change their course of life or living. This art ivolves in arranging, composing your living and working environtment(s), for example : where you should / shouldn't place your cooking stove; you sleeping bed, your working desk; or sometimesyou should build a small pond in your front yard and etc...There are many books about and on this subject and lots of people , esp.. business people in my country believe in Feng Shui; so it may be worthy to some of course, I think. Usually, Feng Shui books don't teach you, they just show you how to apply the ideas.

It's an interesting concept. Improve the flow of energy in your home and work place to improve your life.
There are many different take on it. I've found different instructors have different views on fine tuning the placement of articles in a home. You'll still have to go with what feels right to you.
Check out a local community college they sometimes run a weekend or evening classes. Good luck.

I think it has some valid points. For instance, the way that you face can make a difference in how you feel. Without realizing it, I have everything facing east...where the sun rises. Also, arranging your living spacce so that energy flows through seems like a good point.

The answers about energy in your home are generally correct.
the real issue is to learn to be sensitive to these energies. If you are not, then all the book reading is just wishful thinking.
Do some contemplative studies

It's all about peacefulness and relaxation. Water features are an example. Yes, it's definitely worth it. There are many books on the subject. Get one with good pictures that you can use as examples.

Yes, it is "definitely worth it". To learn about it I suggest you read, read read and research the topic.
I have made adjustments to my home inside and out and I sense the balance of things.
Good Luck.

I would but your answers appeared on the wrong part of my page and threw out the balance that I had established. Can you move you computer about 2 inches to the left and scoot it back about 10 cm? Thanks.
