Looking for any websites that could guide me in the right direction of organizing, putting together, and give me different ideas as I plan this cookbook.

First you need to separate your recipes into category's, such as dessert, cookies, cakes, meats, chicken, ham, beef, appetizers, etc. Then have a color for each category, like breakfast could be yellow because of the sun and eggs, red could be for beef, etc; so it makes it easier to remember. Do whatever you like. I would go to Staples and get nice durable colored paper, or maybe card stock. This is going to be a recipe book so you want it to last. You can also get a self adhesive laminate (no heat or press needed) so that you can make and preserve the front and back cover. If you want to take the time and effort you could also laminate all of the pages to make them "mess proof" and easy to clean, just wipe them off. After you have all of your recipes together and organized take them to Staples or Kinko's and have them bind it for you. Another thing you could do is to buy blank books (cover and pages) and just print, cut and glue recipes into the pages. Just be sure to get a book for each category and label or decorate the cover accordingly. Hope this helps a little, I know you were looking for a web site, but I don't know of any.

print out recipes from a variety of websites, then design your own cookbook. we cut out the text of each recipe, then pasted each one onto various colors of card stock.

each recipe has its own unique two-toned card theme. these recipe cards now live in a really cool wooden box in our kitchen, and each color represents a different style of dish.

another option would be to scrapbook your recipes, although the risk of spilling on them is always a factor.

epicurious and foodtv.com are both great sites for recipes.

I put one together for my sister in law. Picked up a "recipe binder" that already contained pages and dividers... added some printed recipes in plastic sleeves in proper categories.... done!

This is the binder I bought:

Not sure of any websites but I suggest looking at other cookooks for their formats, then get all your recepies together, sort them out, and add some personal stories or touches to each recepie or section.
