The cardboard coins ame in values of 1¢, 5¢. 10¢, 25¢ and 50¢ and when you collected 500 points, you sent them to the company for a free box of them. 10 to a box.
And yes, now I remember, they were Mallow Cups. Thanks everyone.

they were called Mallo cups and they are still around. Nowadays I think you get a discount coupon or something. And they still taste great. Hey, remember Bonomo's turkish taffy? That isn't made anymore. How about the zero bar, the hollywood bar, skybars (still around), Beeman's , Clove and Blackjack chewing gum?

You can buy them and a lot of other candies from long ago at the Cracker Barrel restaurants in their gift store. Take a look, it will bring back memories and give you something to give the kids that will show them how things used to be.
