Say you were madly in love with them, and you broke up. It took forever to get over them. But then out of the blue clear sky, they called you one day and wanted to meet up. Did you give them another chance? Or were you over it by then, and got to tell them to stick it? How good did you feel about your decision afterward?

Yep. When people give up a good thing, remember: they always realize it later, but it might be too late. It was my childhood sweetheart, so I did meet with him and start talking to him by phone again, but when he made advances and started talking relationship, I put my foot down. I told him he'd never get that chance again. I was soooooo over him by then, even though I still care about him as a person. I felt GRRREAT.

yes, and the best thing to do is leave them crawling they hurt you once. don't let them do it again. I had this happen to me and i took that person back. Nothing got better nor did it ever return to the way it once was. all i had was more heartache and pain than i first started out with.

I had this happen once a while ago.He kept calling for a second chance. for a couple weeks i put him off. I didnt want to look deperate. After him calling non stop trying to get me back i gave him that second chance. It was well worth it we are no longer together, but i have no regrets.
