older, they are more mature, know what they want and can work threw problems by talking instead of getting mad and leaving and cheating.

I'm 48 and my boyfriend is 42. Men my age or older look and act too old for me. I am very young at heart and so is he. When I was younger though I always dated guys the same age or a few years older. Then I wanted to be the student; now I want an equal partner. Nah, never wanted to be the teacher.

I would prefer younger guys just because I seem to get approached more by younger than older. Besides, they're a lot more fun and we can both learn from one another ;)

I once dated a guy who is 3 years younger than me...no matter how mature he appears to be or he's trying to be...his immaturity really shows...I am always the teacher! It is really nice to be the student sometimes..when you are the one who is learning and not the other way around...but it really depends on the couple if they will let their relationship works.

I'm funny where this aspect of dating is concerned. I would consider dating a younger guy, he's not so old that he's stuck in his ways, but not so young as to be really immature. So, probalby wouldn't date anyone more than 4 years younger than me. As far as older, about the same...I don't want an old fart who's rigid, or who wants to be my father in some aspects of life. I have a father.

i prefer someone just a little older than me ... up to 5 or 6 years ... but i will date guys up to 5 years younger than me ... but it is not my preference
