go to a real piercer....

I would suggest that you go to a piercing parlor again and get it done with a needle instead.
Cartilage piercing hurts and it takes a very long time to heal, so you must take good care of it or it can become infected.

It will throb after and you won't be able to sleep on that ear for while (or either - I slept with my head way down on the pillow). I dont' remember it being worse than the lobes, though. I think you get scarring/keloids and infections easier - maybe cuz it is up in your hair? Just be careful and keep them clean. Use salt water (sea salt) - not peroxide.

I got mine done about 8 years ago. When getting it peirced, it didn't really hurt to bad. It was afterward during the healing process that it hurt alot. My ear was extremely sore for a while.

yup. Whenever holes are poked in your body, you can count on it hurting. The real important question is, are you a wuss? Are you willing to take the pain for the gain? If not, you should be doing something else - like spending that money and time with something useful.

I got a hole punched through my head now I can't remember diddily
hahaha but actually if it is done right it shouldn't hurt cause they put a plastic retainer in there and that remains till your ear get usece to it then the retainer comes out but really no pain

My daugter is 4 and got her's yesterday and I got mine about 6 years ago and it only hurts for Like a min, and the pain goes away.
{Trust me when the pain goes away you'll look good in the rings!}

yea it hurts and dont get it pierced with a gun .. go someplace that uses the needle .. way more sanitary

My daughter just had it done and said it didn't hurt hardly at all. Just make sure to keep it clean.
