Ice cream (originally iced cream) is a frozen dessert made from dairy products such as cream (or substituted ingredients), combined with flavorings and sweeteners such as sugar. This mixture is cooled while stirring to prevent large ice crystals from forming. Although the term "ice cream" is sometimes used to mean frozen desserts and snacks in general, it is usually reserved for frozen desserts and snacks made with a high percentage of milk fat. Frozen custard, ice milk, sorbet and other similar products are often also called ice cream. Governments often regulate the use of these terms based on quantities of ingredients.

In 1984, President Ronald Reagan designated July as National Ice Cream Month in the United States, and the third Sunday of the month as National Ice Cream Day

There are over 1,400 flavorings, stabilizers, colors, and emulsifiers available to the commercial producer of ice cream.

Unfortunately, ice cream manufacturers are not required by law to list the additives used in making their product. As a result, most ice creams are synthetic from start to finish.

Ice cream makers are giving us a wide variety of delicious flavors, but are they fit to eat?

There is hardly any ice cream flavor that does not have a chemical substitute. Some of the artificial flavors are potent poisons which are powerful enough to cause liver, kidney, and heart disease.

I love vanilla on a cone. The best thing is when
there is just a little left and the cone gets all
soggy. That is the best tasting and textured
treat in the universe. I'll go make one now!
DID YOU KNOW that although people think
of ice cream being a cool treat, after the initial
consumation of it, it actually WARMS your body
because of the richness of ingredients? Yep!
My 4th grade science teacher, Mr. Gurvitz
told me that and proved it and I have never forgotten.

it is cold and creamy. it comes in many flavors. some times there are bits of treats in it. for example: nuts, fruit, candy, cookies, and pretty much anything else that you can think of. ice cream is good with toppings of fudge, strawberry sauce, whipped topping and any kind of candy.
