Well bless your heart. First of all, I rejoice that God has placed you in your family to be a light for Jesus Christ to your parents.
I have found that I grow closer to God the more I read and study His word, the more I pray. I listen to praise and worship music, I rejoice in meditating on His word when I'm walking across a street, in an elevator, waiting in line. There is a verse in the bible, "He keeps those in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed upon Jehovah". Make Him the person you go to for each need, talk to Him throughout the day, ask Him how to reach your mom and dad. I'm very excited for you.....you are young and seeking Him and He will direct you!
God bless you and keep you close.

Depending on how open-minded your parents are, you should ask them if you can go to church or talk to a pastor. If your parents are supportive, purchase a Bible and read it together. Continue going to church, and take Bible classes. Also consider buying a Luther's Catechism with Explanation (Large or Small) to go with your Bible. If they aren't so receptive, make Christian friends at your school and talk to them about it. Ask to borrow a Bible and read it. Pray to God about it, and don't give up your faith. Look up the Lord's Prayer, the Apostles Creed, and the Nicene Creed (if you don't know them) if you want to say those and see the points of the Christian faith. Remember that God the Father Almighty has given His Son Jesus Christ for the world that everyone who believes can be saved. Jesus suffered, died, and was raised from the dead for YOU!
If your parents want to become Christians, get baptised!
And last of all,
CONGRATS on joining the faith and seeing the light! I hope that you persevere if/when your faith is tested, and that you never let go!

Find some other influences! Other Christians, then you can relate. Of course read the bible, and pray to him for a closer relationship. Lastly, stop all sin in your life. Sin puts out a "road block" for GODS blessings

Have faith and God will make your relationship closer, despite your parents' lack of belief. God knows your heart... .just don't give up. You CAN have the relationship you want with God. :)

By looking around you: the people that love you and the feelings you have for those people, the warmth in your heart when you see those beloved ones, God is there, God is love;
Look around you: the sunlight, the rain, the grass, the flowers, the puppies, God is there, just feel Him in your heart when you look around, when you laugh, when you cry, when you are in awe because something marvelous is happening to you.
God is inside us around us, holding our hand all the time, protecting us. God is us. Feel Him, recognize Him and thank Him for the good things that make us happy and for the bad things(we think they are bad), because we learn from what happens to us.
God bless you

Don't worship Jesus Christ - doing so violates GOD's first commandment (most religions attributed to GOD do). Most of GOD's teachings are plain to see for anyone who wishes to know. Follow the Law and love the One GOD.

one must know the lord for himself. only you are responsible for your souls sole salvation. you get to know him for yourself and represent with all your heart and soul. when we Stand we stand on strong solid ground on whatever you are standing for. let no one sway you away. getting that personal relationship and having it grow stronger in the lord takes submission and time. listening, praying reading and fasting. hearing that still voice of the lord when he ministers to you. your parents apparently will be influenced by your walk. you have to do you and the rest will follow. you let God handle them. you may be the seed, and he will send someone else to water their faith and belief, and someone else to harvest. the holy spirit never fails. you stand and continue to pray, cause there is nothing he cant do. he can do more than we can possibly imagine, more abundantly.don't think that your parents are a hard task for him. i have seen him turn the hardest heart and non believer

you need to really focus on God,
no matter what he will take care of you...ask him to open your parents eyes and pray constanty.
its not even about religion or going to church...make God your best friend and that will bring you really close to him.
its really hard, but no one said it would be easy.
following God is soooo difficult, but your reward is greater in heaven

I'm sure you have heard this before, but pray! Read the Bible as it will guide you through every step of your life. It will also help in guiding your parents to Him. God bless.

Pray and read the Bible. I know, at first that looks elementary.
To pray is to talk to God. To read the Bible is God speaking to you.
Pray and then read the Bible. Have a conversation with God.
