Okay girls. Here's my problemo. I really, really like this guy, who is in my language arts and homebase. he waits for me outside homebase and we talk face-to-face and in e-mails quite often. We're very good friends, in fact. I know he is not allowed to date yet, and I'm perfectly happy waiting. But I get super-jealous if someone else talks to him an dmakes him smile or laugh or something. How can I control my jealous feelings?

well, if he's not yours yet, practice a lot
your behavior can destroy this relation even before it's really started
guys are very sensitive in this point - it turns them crazy when girls are jealous without a reason

This is scary, I am in the EXACT SAME situation. Everything is the same. Well, I don't have those classes, but anyway, I think that you should talk to other people too. Don't obsess. I used to get EXTREMELY jealous every time I saw him with any other girl, especially if she hugged him or made him laugh. But then I started ignoring that and I talked to other guys, my friends, went to get some candy, etc. I really didn't get jealous because I didn't see that happen as much anymore. And now, he even checks on me every now and then, and I hear he likes me. He's not allowed to date, but we've hung out anyways. Just don't obsess, and you'll see how things work out.

There really isn't a way to control your feelings. If you have a diary sort of thing, you can write all your anger and jealousy down and you will feel much better. That always works for me. If he does talk to someone else it shouldn't matter, after all there must be something he likes about you if he waits for you after class. I used to have the same problem. Don't think about the negitive things when you see him talking with another girl, just think that they are just talking about a class project and the anger should disappear for the time being. Good Luck!!

u need to remember that he's not ur boyfriend but ur friend.. and he can't have girlfriends so u need to fall back and allow him to enjoy the attn he's getting from other girls.. u start acting all psycho and stuff and he's not gonna want u anyway when he's old enough..
