I did not believe him and his theories well before I became a Christian and began my walk with God.

He was a lunatic who got someone to listen to his rantings of how his life was someones elses fault. That got him out of the looney bin, but he should have been at best ignored.

Unfortunately, the ones who listened to him liked the idea of the blame game and no guilt for your own circumstances. It is the path of least resistance, so it was accepted.

Personally I think Freud was a pervert and sick and this has nothing to do with my religious views. I studied a few semesters of Psychology and I find him offensive and very male oriented. The whole idea of penis envy is nonsense so to is the sexual attraction to ones parents. Sick and twisted. This man needed psychotherapy.

Freud had a 'theory'.
This means he may have provided a degree of truth.
No one contests that sex and fame are motivational factors.
However, they became such AFTER Adam sinned.

No, I'm sorry if I wasn't a christian or I was, I don't believe that I went through anal oral and pubic stages... I'm sorry I don't believe in the relationships between my mother and I beyond just that.

I don't believe everything I do is just for the booty... I'm sorry. Christian or not, whatever.

I believe in a more practical approach, that we go through life trying to make ourselves more comfortable in the way we live and the way we think.

Everything liberals stand for is rooted in sex. Listen to their arguments; "keep your laws off my body", "who we sleep with is no one's business", "stay out of our bedroom", etc.
Liberals not only think it's OK for a boy to put his weenie into the mouth and heinie of another boy, they think those boys should be allowed to "play house" for real by getting married when they grow up.
With liberals, it's all about sex. Oh well, at least they all believe in abortion.

True..as far as man's fallen nature is concerned. We're all about ourselves.

And also true...it is not consistent with Christianity. Paul said, I no longer live, but it is Christ who lives within me. Thats a Christian.
Someone who no longer pursues his own interest, but lives for God.

Well, who cares, cause nobody else really gives much credence to Freud these days.
