I responded to a question and gave my oppinion, the person who asked the question e-mailed me with threats and location were we could meet and have at it! I think these actions are at least juvinile if not self destructive. what if I was a nut job also and showed up with a gun? This is the first and hopefuly the last time I have to deal with this kind of B.S. of course I'm not going to meet this person and I don't have a gun so whats left? crawl thrue the phone lines and kick my butt?what a world?

Report them & then ignore them. It is a terribly juvenile response to a difference of opinion. Don't lower yourself to their level, no matter how angry you might be. None of us can tell just who, or what, might be lurking behind the icons & the words typed. Be safe, not sorry.

You don't have to deal with this at all, because this person doesn't know who you are, or where you are. You're okay. Don't fall into a victim mentality. Take charge, take positive action, and then let it go. It's not worth your time.

Report the person to the website and notify them as well as the authorities if they persist in the threats. Be sure to keep a copy of any correspondence they have sent in case needed.

That's so funny because it's so pathetic. Just report them to yahoo answers, make sure to include a copy of the threatening email. They will most likely suspend or delete his account for threatening bodily harm.

Don't be stupid...you agree to meet them, set a time, make sure the place is remote, far from their home, and hope they show up...you won't, but you can write back later and asked why they chickened out! You could have had real fun with this one...you blew it!

you could always ignore that person

you could answer them via email

you could say you would meet up and then not turn up

but just ignoring them will usually work best and get you in the least trouble in the long run

You meet all kinds on here. I'd just taunt him at every oppertunity, not enough to get reported, just enough to keep him pissed off,
