Judy Blume books are awesome. So are the Junie B. Jones series by Barbara Park. My daughters loved them! Also, R.L. Stein if they like to be a little spooked.

Anything by Beverly Cleary. The Boxcar Children Series. The Little House on the Prairie series. Junie B. Jones series. These are all commonly found at any bookstore. Just ask the clerk and you'll be pointed in the right direction.

I got this book for my daughter when she was about 10. It was one of the greatest books that I ever bought for her. She is 18 now and still has it.
