In the Detroit Freepress they ran an article about the American military starting to turn against the war in Iraq. Many of the troops are asking "Why are we in Iraq". I say this is a turning point. Anyone remember Vietnam in 1969? That's when the American military said "Enough!".

before each little thing Obama supporters are the most hypocritical bunch I have ever spoken too. the guy ran to end wars close Gitmo and fix the monetary equipment (all large motives) yet has persevered the very guidelines he ran hostile to. If Bush became nevertheless in workplace (and exceptionally frankly he would as well be) those hypocrits will be crying and marching contained in the streets, even as they offer this Obama a hollow a complete bypass. To thhe guy who stated the U. S. hasn't taken a drop of oil...you're most suitable the U. S. has secured the oil and given get admission to to the oil organizations who've printed record revenue year after year because the protection stress became given to them as a loose safe practices stress. If Obama became 1/2 the President has claimed in the course of the campaign, Bush and his entire crew will be sitting formerly a conflict tribunal and the U. S. would have withdrawn.

Depends on how many soldiers made the statement 25,000, probably more like 200. I work in media and an overwhelming response I get from soldiers is that they feel they are helping the iraqi people and are VERY PROUD to do so!!! 1969 huh? Well the last time I checked the Vietnam war went up to '75 before the final groups pulled out.

They shouldn't ask such absurd question, the pay is good after all.
Here, I paste again the chronological morphing answers for justifying war : WMD (not found yet), AL-qaida links (can be established everywhere if you wanted), Democracy (it's being established with 40 civilians killed everyday plus one or two American soldiers).

Some answers that might be plausible:
- Getting revenge for 9/11, which is a good cause.
- Destablizing the area so that it milks more cheap oil from neighboring countries to be sold at higher price to consumers (who is in this business?)
- Eleminating Iraq as a long-standing risk for Israel.
- Reaping more profits from keeping people scared, they buy more at the time of war.

When you say "warmonger," do you mean a person who supports using the military to enforce United Nations resolutions in a country that invaded its neighbor, killed its own people, and shot at American airplanes on UN patrols? Or, do you mean someone who enjoys war regardless of the soldiers being killed? Since you seem to include President Bush in the "warmonger" category, I'm assuming you mean the former.

Not all agree with this statement, and not all soldiers do either, Soldiers get homesick, I did. But also at the same time, how can you start something and not finish it... I say to the Iraqi Government, You have 6 months to get it together, then we are pulling out, whether you can handle it or not..... Our Soldiers do need to come home..... They should of sent in a Marine Recon Unit of a 8 team force, Sniped Hussein, and been done with it.....
No, we have to spend countless soldiers lives each day for political reasons, the wars over, Bring Em Home Commander, there job is Finished........................................ Oooooorah!!!

The American military never said "enough", the MEDIA said enough, get your facts straight! If the military had their way Vietnam would have ended up on a more positive note (we didn't lose militarily). And "turning point"? Who's side are you on anyway?

I find it amusing that one article in one paper says something negative and all of a sudden every soldier is against the war. Google the armies reenlistment stats for the last two years. Funny that so many soldiers who are fed up with Bush are reenlisting.......Heres a thought, stop drinking your bath water.

no, the troops know why they are thiere, some reserve groups who did not really want to go to war but only play soldier complain.

Most troops ask to go back, even if wounded, they know what we are really doing and love the military.

I would say they must have searched 1000 soldiers to find a couple complainers,

Unless this is like M. Morore movie where he took what the people said out of context to make his movie
