I do not "binge" drink or even drink every day. Is it wrong/unhealthy to get drunk once in a while? I enjoy the euphoric effects of alcohol - is this something to be ashamed of? What's wrong with feeling "buzzed?" I literally sit on my couch, watch football and get drunk, so there is no problem with driving, fighting or anything silly like that. I just like the feeling! So what's wrong with it?

Nothing's wrong with that. Everyone gets drunk every once in a while, and as long as your drinking won't lead to the injury, mental or physical, of you or anyone else, who cares? I agree with you, I like the euphoric feeling as well, it's just another way to have a good time.

it rather is common to work out the greater youthful a protracted time of those answering your questions. it rather is not whether getting under the effect of alcohol is risky, it rather is what can take place in case you're under the effect of alcohol that's a controversy. is it okay to threat what you're risking at the same time as being under the effect of alcohol? Is it okay to threat accidentally heading down a highway to alcoholism? you will possibly on no account have any regrets from staying sober. No DUIs, no person night stands with women human beings you does not date otherwise, (to incorporate threat of stds, undesirable pregnancies, unwelcome accusations of date rape, the checklist is going on), no hangovers. no person ever intends for the topics to take place, however the alcohol is the catalyst to a litany of issues, a number of which would be existence changing. popularity changing is undesirable adequate. what's your legacy? the actual indicator of somebody who's the right age to drink is somebody who's mature adequate to no longer could. the actual heros are not the lads who can do the main shooters. the actual heros are the pals who determine those men do notcontinual, and get abode secure. actual men know that a under the effect of alcohol woman desires to be respected, even in spite of the undeniable fact that she does not admire herself. A sober guy can try this. Alcohol would get rid of inhibitions, even though it additionally removes any class or accountability. in case you on no account "binge" drink on your existence, you're a greater clever individual for it. pass have a cup of espresso, and make certain what style of guy you would be.

On one hand you seem upset that "what's wrong with feeling "buzzed"' but on the other hand you'e asking about being DRUNK. A light buzz is what alcohol is all about. Being DRUNK, to where you are no longer in control of your body or mind, that's just plain stupid. BAd for the liver, kills brain cells and makes you look foolish.

nothing. most people who drink get drunk once in a while. its unhealthy , but everyone does things that are unhealthy. as long as you dont let it overtake you, drink up. i do. the bible thumpers will tell you your going to hell, and the teetotalers will call you an alchoholic. pay no attention. actually i feel sorry for those who dont drink because when they wake up in the morning, thats the best theyre going to feel all day.

Yeah know, you sound like someone gave you the lecture about drinking already, easy does it... You don't have to convince any of us, if your OK with it and your not getting pinched for DUI or spending your family trust on Old Milwaukee, let the party begin..

Have a drink and don't worry about it. Just don't get smashed every night. Drink in moderation and you still get your buzz, but your liver will thank you later.

What do you get drunk off? Remember drinks have calories:)
I guess as long as you're treating it as a splurge, and aren't a mean or stupid or black out drunk, there really isn't any problem:)

O.K.
So you are not the worst case scenario.
However, no situation is stable.
All situations grow.
Toward what are you growing?
A small 'buzz' now will be a 'need' in 10 years.
Do you want that?
Now you can take it or leave it, but you are in a growing situation.
Do you want it to be worse further down the road?

If it works for you that is fine, but since you asked. It can be emotionally unhealthy to rely on a controlled substance to deal with your emotions. If you are so stressed out that you have to drink to deal with it, maybe you need to develop coping skills.

But, it is your life, and if it works for you, have at it.
