I like the look where you pick the colors and your bridal party picks whatever style looks best on them. It is a leap of faith but it is so much nicer because they can wear them again. I'd tell them get a light pink dress with a tea length skirt. I like strapless or halter bodices because they flatter everyone.

Light pink dresses would be very pretty, especially with the different shades of pink flowers, and light pink can be very elegant with the right dress style.

well obviously a shade of pink since they cant wear white....lol. but as far as style that depends a lot on what kind of dress you have. Ex. is your dress very elegant? or are you in a simple more classic look? what season are you getting married in? also i think a long dress for the bridesmaids is always better as chances are it will fit all body types better. i wish i could answer better but as im sure you know a wedding is all about the details. try looking up bridal stores on the web. i know for a fact that Davids bridal gives previews of all their dresses in every shade you could think of. for my wedding i took the maid of honnor with as a specail treat to her . good luck and congradulations!!!

The best idea I ever heard of was to give the girls the specific color, and let them choose an individual style dress for themselves. Face it, there is no one dress that looks good on everybody, and usually there are varieties of sizes and shapes in the bridal party. As long as the color is flattering (pink looks good on everybody!), let them be individuals! Good luck to you!
