I agree with Taivo: most people will answer that the best country to live in is the one where they were brought up. I'm French and, although France is not perfect, I love my country! Particularly the South of France, because it's sunny!

I know an Algerian who moved to France 5 years ago because of the instability in his country. He would like to go back to his country because there are things in France he doesn't like (related to work: he thinks that bosses are thieves).

I lived in America and in England and, although I enjoyed both (actually, I'm still living in England), I still prefer my home country! There are things that I miss when I'm abroad (food, for instance).

Despite everything that's going on, Lebanon is such an amazing country. Its the only Arab country that has both beaches and mountains. Plus its filled with many many mixed cultures and almost everyone there speaks 3 languges. We may have our problems but when the country is in stability, it tends to grow and grow and grow. But really there's no place like home.. and Leb. is my home so in my eyes and in the eyes of its wonderful people who stand together no matter what no country no matter what it is can compare

Out of everywhere I've been so far, I'd have to say Ireland because of their opportunities available as well as being one of the most progressive countries in the European Union by far.

I live currently in the US but I've traveled to Canada, Mexico, Ireland, England, France, Germany, Belgium, Netherlands, Norway, Australia, and Indonesia.

I would say Canada, being a Canadian myself. Freedom seems to be a big national thing, though parents give children as much freedom as anyone else. It's good in Canada, no bombs that I know of have ever hit us, we have the CN Tower and beavers and even the Niagara Falls. I would say that the best part of Canada is Southern Ontario.
