the holy Bible has been around for thousands of years.IT is
Gods word written down for mankind to know him and what he
expects of us.all we have to do in turn is read it ,take in the life
giving knowledge it provides, live by the standards it sets out,and
keep taking in that life giving wisdom. it does require some
effort to understand the deeper things ofGOD,but with perserverence, and a heart felt desire to please the creator of all
things. it can be done, and then brings much joy and peace of mind..TRY IT,YOU'LL LIKE IT...I am a true Christian..

Probably if god shouted from the heavens would I beleave in it. AND if it said to follow the bibles way while shouting from the heavens, would I follow it. But I probably would be shroomed out of my mind if that ever happen so if I would wake up the next day I wouldnt beleave it LOL

ANd also too whoever said that nothing in the bible has been proven wrong is a retard. Really? the fact that we have found fossils that are millions of years old proves that we have found evidence that contradict the bible

Wow, good question!

First, I believe in the moral teachings attributed to Jesus, but I do not believe in god.

Unfortunately, I think my answer must be, "What evidence are you offering?" I can think of several forms of evidence (that basically equate to God shouting from heaven), but I would have to evaluate whatever is offered.

This is what I would hope of any juror. Don't try to presume what evidence must be. Look at the evidence and decide.

I can tell you what evidence I would not accept.
- Anyone's testimony (although I would use that to evaluate the sincerity of the person's belief.)
- Any explanation based on the premise that "since I don't have any other answer, it must be god."
- Any explanation based on poor logic (like the previous answer... What is the probability that the Earth can support life? 100%, since it does. What is the probability that the Earth is the right distance from the sun to support life? You guessed it, 100%)

The fact that nothing in the Bible had ever been proven false is a good start. There are also thousands of archaeological finds to back up prophesies in the old testament. Only God could predict correctly that many times.

When I have doubts, I just look around at the total improbability of this world being capable of supporting life. To be spaced just far enough from a star that keeps the temp just right, has water and food and air and an aptmosphere and the food chain to support us and make us thrive. That complete ridiculous chance could be the answer is the height of arrogance. I don't know which religeon if any is right, but I know there is a creator.

Not a Christian. No evidence would work. Not a single reference to God in the Bible can be proven as fact, it is just not possible. Religion is based on faith and faith alone. If you don't have it, you won't believe it. That is your answer.

I accept the scriptures because, the bible is encoded , in more than one way, using mathematics.Actually the bible is the oldest history book and the third reason scriptures are the word of God because they have power in them.

I have no doubt the scriptures were "inspired" by a belief in a God but they were written by hand of Man. So if they are written by man then they are capable of being in error and opinionated and wrong.

Anything would suffice. Just one single solitary shred of credible evidence.
However, none exist. Not one.
The next person that produces this evidence will be the first, in history.

There is no proof and can be no proof of a God.
