I don't like going to church on Sunday.

I prefer to worship and speak to my God and practice my religion at my own free will on whatever day and time that I choose or not choose.

I do not need to hear anyone else's review of whatever the bible said to do. I can form my own thoughts and opinions without being preached to.'

If you are referring to the sabbath then NO Sunday is NOT the day. Why don't people go to church EVERYday? What is church? A gathering of people to worship the Lord? A building? A place where the Lord resides? NO, church is "For where two or three are gathered together in my name, there am I in the midst of them."

Well, I'm not sure if you're asking whether or not we like going to church or specifically on Sunday. My family and I actually go on Saturday evenings-no need to get up early. I have mixed feelings-I don't like going to church because I usually tune out and fail to listen, therefore I get really bored. But I also like it as my time for peace and quiet, a little bit of prayer for my family, and some nice music.

I used to hate my church when i first went there but then the small church became my family i help the church with alter serving and i want to be eucharistic minister i love going to mass now.
If you think mass is boring do something for the church join choir, participate even listening to everything the preist says is perfect. I always get sidetracked during mass (i have short attention span), but being close to god away from all the daily problems of life is really enjoyable if you can't concentrate just meditate u and god that is the main purpose to me talking to God.

I don't like going to church on Sundays, or any given day for that matter.

I haven't found a church that I like going to. Every church I've been to seems to be more political than spiritual, full of judgemental attitudes and gossip. Whatever happened to building each other up, supporting and loving each other and serving the community? Mine might be a simple, idealistic faith but I like it that way. I believe in God, not in other christians.

I believe you can find God anywhere. You don't necessarily have to go to church . It's up to each person. Church is mainly for fellowship. I don't believe God dwells in man made temples.

Why go to a big hall, listen to some badly sung music and hand over my money when I could be out on the lake fishing?

Depends on your church. Satan and those who follow him don't go for sure. There are some really great churches out there if you care to seek them out.
