about my puppy that got his paw smashes hes now asleep but he is breathing hard

If he's sleeping, then he's probably fine. If he were in a lot of pain he would be whining and pacing. Just watch him really closely tonight and if anything changes then call an emergency vet in your area.
Even if your vet is closed, if you listen to the message on their answering machine they will most likely give a number to call in case of emergency. That's what we do at our clinic anyway.

There are places in MOST cities, called VETERINARIAN, they are doctors for animals...CALL or GO TO ONE NOW...
Would you wait to see a doctor if your foot was smashed?
POOR PUPPY...and HOW did that happen????
Dogs pant for more reason than HEAT, for pain and fear too!
Also if he is running a fever he is HOT, being hot or running a fever will make him pant, a fever is a sign of infection!
It could be broken and it can lead to infection...infection can turn to gangrene (( rot )) and then need to be cut off!
IF the paw is swollen and hot or warm to touch, you need to go.
I would take him no matter what, how ling has he been like that?
Before you got on here to ask the question? A dog owner should know to take a HURT ANIMAL to the vets!

Find out if there's an emergency vet in you area. If you live in a city or a big suburban area there probably is. Look in the yellow pages or online. Take him to the emergency vet immediately!

i answered your other question too its probably really hurting so he might just be breathing hard to try to get the pain to go away aslo when he waiks up give him some cold water to drink it might help him
