is it bad to die my hair?i'm 12?

i have dark dark brown hair,sota' curly,i'm a boy, and i want to die my hair red.it would look alot better if it was red.but my mom say it would be sinful and horible and crap.

I am a hairstylist and my suggestion would be ask your mom to take you to a professional to have just some auburn highlights done.not real heavy just enough to be able to tell you have some.Don't do them real red or a bright red that way they will look more natural..The only way that the highlights would be horrible and crap is if you did them yourself and didnt go to a salon for them.ANother thing is highlighting is not a sin.hair color has nothing to do with religion unless you are of a faith that doesn't allow make-up, jewelry,and such.

Listen to your Mum. Once you turn 18 you can do what you like with your hair. Good grief you are only 12. Stay young for as long as you can. Before you know it you will be 30 and you that anyone over the age of 21 is old hehehehehe!!!!!

yes it would plus your too young wait a few years . if you want to color your hair red you have to bleach it and its very harmfull for your hair just leave it the way it is im sure its nice just go get a nice hair cut. you need to understand that only certain colors go with your skin and eye tones so just imagine what you would look like with red hair probally aweful

it depends on what type of red..if it was like a natural red..it might look weird..cuz most guys dont have red hair..but if it was like bright red..a little too much attention?..how about black..so ull look scater..but then its not much of a difference..how about like Black and RED?..idk..i like punk kids..you seem like a skater hair dude..idk..its not bad to die ur hair though..but im thinking if u really want to die it..do black..cuz its not as much as a darastic change..and ur mom i dont think would care as much..

I don't believe that it's sinful or horrible to dye your hair, but I do believe that you are too young. Wait until you are at least fifteen or sixteen to make a drastic change to your appearance like that.
