No, you can scan them in, or have your photos developed onto a cd.

No. Many photo developing locations (Walmart, Walgreens, etc) will sell you a CD of your pictures when you get them developed. Pop that CD into your computer and copy the pics over to your hard disk.
Digital cameras are coming down in price, so look at some when you're in the market for your next camera.
You can also purchase a scanner to create digital images of your existing photos.
Good luck!

Nope. You can get pictures into your computer several ways. If you take a roll of film to get developed ask the folks there about putting your photos on a CD. This way you can have your prints and the digital files of your photos on your PC. (You can just copy them from the CD)

Nope! If you have a throw away camera or a standard film camera all you have to do is take your film to your local CVS or like store, and request your pictures to be placed on a CD. Once it's on there you can view them on your computer. Most picture CD's come with installations like Kodak so you can edit them.

NO. At CVS, Walgreen's, Wal-mart and a lot of other places you have the option of getting your pictures back with a CD. All of your pictures will be on this CD. All you have to do is install the CD on your computer and it automatically saves your pictures(usually in My Pictures). Oh, yeah, you also get the actual print pictures.

No,if you have a camera that uses film, when you go get the film developed, have them put the pics on CD/DVD. Then you can load them to your computer.

no you do not. Not if you have a scanner. You can scan any picture and save it to your computer. Best Buy has an all on one scanner, printer and copier that is wonderful and it is not too expensive.
