Yes you could be pregnant again, although this soon after an abortion the pregnancy may not last. Your uterus is probably still healing and it will have a much harder time dealing with a new pregnancy. I'm sorry so many people on here are trying to say such horrible things, they only care about their opinions and believe everyone else should follow them. Whatever you do with your life is your business and your right, they have right to pass judgement on you or try to make you feel bad. We do not know what your reasons are, and I don't believe anyone is selfish for any reason they terminate a pregnancy. The only thing I would recommend though is please use birthcontrol or a condom. You can usually get them for free at local clinics if you are truely not wanting a child at this time. But its still your choice and you should do what you want. I'm pro-choice, for any choice. I have a child and one on the way, but I know that if I got pregnant again after this that I will most likely have an abortion. My fiance and I talked it over and it would be way out of our league to have three children or for me to end up not being able to work or properly take care of the two I have. Good luck and have a nice day.

Exactly what rock were you born under? I will never understand people who think that they: 1. don't use common sense and 2. think that they know better than a trained medical professional. Did your doctor NOT tell you to have sex right after the abortion? Put it like this: the whole reason why doctors tell you not to have sex for 6 weeks after giving birth is so that your body can recoup. I would assume that the same thing goes for abortions. Why do you feel like you know better than the doctor? If you didn't, you wouldn't have opened those legs that got you in so much trouble the first time (or seeing this, the second, third, fourth, or fifth time). Some people will never learn. I hope to goodness for that child's sake, that you aren't pregnant. No one deserves to have a such a person as a parent.
If you can't take the heat, don't ask the question. It's a simple as that. You knew good and well that people would react as they did. And the thing is, I'm not indignant because you had an abortion. No, not at all, that was your choice. HOWEVER, LIKE AN IDIOT, you put yourself back into the same situation not a MONTH after you had it. That I think is what has people angry.....and my first question remains: Exactly what rock were you born under?

Yes you can very well be. You seem very angry, I am sure there is more to this than just what you have posted and I understand why you do not want to divulge ALL of the details.
Why you did not learn anything is beyond any of us and why you did not listen to you doctor is also beyond any understanding and there is no good excuse nor explanation to make it "OK" Why you are doing is wrong, other than what some will think and say about killing a living child that God gave you, you are hurting your body so badly, it is self abuse.
You need to seek help from someone somewhere. Not sure how old you are or anything like that, but God forbid my daughter does this when she gets older.
Sex is not a game, should never be used for acceptance and sex has nothing to do with love, it facilitates making babies, procreation and continuing the life cycle. Sex is a verb and only a verb, there is nothing deeper to it, it means nothing but the physical.
You are not hurting anyone but yourself, in more ways than what people think of you but physically and emotionally too... this is not a legacy that you want to leave the children you do end up having or the friends and relatives you have.
You are in our prayers.

I work with a girl who had an abortion and got pregnant before her next period. So yes it's possible.
Also when a doctor scrapes a baby out of your body, and tells you not to put anything in your vagina for at least a month it's pretty safe to say that you probably shouldn't have sex. Don't you even care a little about your health?
Are you a complete idiot? Abortion is not a form of birth control. It's very expensive and, especially when you can't follow simple aftercare instructions can have dangerous complications.
WHEN YOU HAVE UNPROTECTED SEX YOU HAVE AN 85% CHANCE OF GETTING PREGNANT WITHIN A YEAR. If you don't want a baby use birth control.

Yes you could be pregnant. I've been told that after an abortion, birth, or miscarriage it is very easy to get pregnant again. I guess the reason for that is that since you don't really know when you will get your period, it is very hard to tell when you are ovulating. Anyways, girl use some protection, or get on some type of birth control. There are so many types of birth controls out there.

If you have sex, you can get pregnant. End of story.
Instead of possibly putting yourself in this uncomfortable (both physically AND mentally) situation again, why don't you try to use birth control? If you're (or your boyfriend is) allergic to latex, condoms are made from other materials and it's my understanding that they work equally well. If you can't take the pill or patch (some women can't) have you thought about an IUD? I have a non-hormonal one, so it won't mess with your body like hormone-based contraception sometimes will. There are also diaphragms and the depo-provera shot, but I'm not really sure how the shot works.

Any time you have unprotected sex you can get pregnant!!! If you do not understand the responsibilities of having sex than you should not be having it at all. Why would you continue to have unprotected sex after an abortion in the first place? If it is because your skeezy boyfriend says that it doesn't feel the same he is full of crap. And if you aren't going to make him wear a condom be sure to get yourself tested for everything and have enough self respect to get on birth control.

Are you crazy??? You have just had an abortion so you don't want to get pregnant yet you keep on having unprotected sex. it is time for you to think about the value of life. Birth control is available, abortion is not a form of birth control. By the way, I am not a pro-lifer, just stunned by your actions.

You very well could be. The chances aren't very high, but there's always the possibility. The question that really sticks out in my mind is why you continue to have unprotected sex without using any form of birth control. Please have more respect for yourself and any unborn children you could conceive and practice safe sex if you're not ready to be a parent. Abortion is not a proper form of birth control.
