Which brand offers the best product?

with the way electronics have advanced in the last decade it's hard to say. i have just purchased some oddball brands at cheap prices and i cant fault them, they do exactly what it says on the box. It doesn't matter what brand you buy it will be superseded in 6 months or less; so think on, are you trying to impress your friends or do you just want to sit down and watch a film.
there are a lot of brands but there is only a handful of company's who make components to go inside.

Take a look at Onkyo, Denon, Marantz, Harman/Kardon, and Sony ES. Prices will vary, but you can do a comparison online...
