In Deuteronomy 18, Moses stated that God told him: “I will raise up for them a prophet like you from among their brothers; I will put my words in his mouth, and he will tell them everything I command him. If anyone does not listen to my words that the prophet speaks in my name, I myself will call him to account.” (Deuteronomy 18:18-19).1

I believe that Jesus was a bit more committed, and a bit more extreme considering he was carrying the original message of his father. Moses was a prophet, and therefore I THINK his job was to carry Jesus' word across the world. Jesus was a leader, a man who held to his original ideals. Moses carried Jesus' word and was a follower.

No one in the world is like Jesus, as He was the Son of our Heavenly Father, and perfect and sinless as the lamb of God. He lives today on the right hand of the FAther, and in every person's heart who claims Him as the Saviour of the world.
Moses, by contrast was a murderer when he was forty years old, as he killed an Egyptian beating a Jewish slave. He went into hiding for 40 years as a shepherd for his father-in-law. He was reluctant to obey God when God asked him to lead the Israelites out of Egypt, even having his brother speak for him, as we believe he was a stutterer.
Moses was a great man, and God spoke to him from a burning bush on the Mountain when he gave him the tablets with the ten commandments. The glow of God was on his face.
BUT in the end, he disobeyed God and struck a rock to command it to bring forth water, instead of speaking to it, as God had commanded him. God did not allow him to enter the promised land, he died outside the destination that he had stroven for forty years. Joshua lead the people after Moses.
God Bless you for wanting to know more.

No, not at all. Moses was a sinful man that acted upon lusts, anger and desires. Jesus was perfect, without sin, wholly God and wholly man. They were both leaders of people, but I really don't believe the behaved the same way. Thanks for posting a "real" and thought-inspiring question.

how do you compare a prophet to GOD?

No.

Moses was unsure of himself. He made excuses. He was afraid. He did not listen to God and did things of his own volition (several times)

Jesus made NO mistakes. He couldn't.
