I've got two older brothers, 17 and 15. Having an older brother is almost like having a parent around all the time. ALL THE TIME. They are so protective, which is mostly a good thing --I guess. They can be the most strict, uptight sibling in the world. But ten minutes later they are the goofiest weirdos ever. I like having them protective, and I also like being able to relate to them. I love my older brothers and I am thankful for the love and protection they give me.

I have an older brother( 2 years older) well we fought a lot when we were little... like most siblings do but now we hang out like friends... as for the whole protecting thing.. that situation has never come up... my brother is really sarcastic and can be sometimes kind of mean.. but now that im going away to college and i wont see him as much he has said to me that he really does love me even though he can be mean to me at times and that he will miss me... it meant a lot coming from him
i like having an older brother... sorry you dont have one.. i guess the closest thing you could get to one.. is a really ridiculouly close guy friend that protects you and teaches you stuff about life

I have four older brothers!!! There are good things like for me they (atleast the oldest two) are always there to help and give good advice. The bad thing is everyone knows them and they have like a million guy friends who end up treating you like their little sister, which is good until you start trying to talk to a boy. Basically, I love my brothers and sorry you don't have any. I don't know what I'd do without mine.

It means never being able to talk to a guy (or have a guy look at you) for the rest of your life when your brother is around. My older brother is super-protective!!

I've always wanted to have an older brother. One who would protect me and take care of me whenever I needed some shelter.

but then again when a bf hurts u jus tell ur bro and he will go kick his @$$
