I have a quick amusing anecdote about that. My ex girlfriend from the 90's asked me if I'd go to the store so I said yes. She gives me a list and I said I didn't need one. She insisted. I finally took it, got in the car, and pitched it out the window as I drove to the store. I get to the store and cannot remember s.hit. So what I do remember I finally take to the counter and there is a gorgeous redhead at the register. She looks at the stuff I have as I ask for 2 packs of cigarettes as well. Then, out of the blue she smiles like a Cheshire cat and says, Looks like y'all are gonna have a great time tonight. So I said, "Oh, yeah, we do this every freakin' night. I get what she means as I am walking out the door with my beer, cigs, whipped cream and douche. I laughed my *** off all the way home. I carry a list every time I go to the store now. lol

Yes! I forget it often! Last time I went to the store I needed stamps. So I put my empty stamp paper in my wallet with my debit card so when I was checking out I would remember to tell the cashier I needed some stamps. It worked :)

Yes. That is so annoying too! I spend a good few seconds on it checking everything is there from food, vegetable to toiletries etc . When I realise I have forgotton it, I have to work from memory- or try to remember them or if time write them down again quickly in the car.

All the time and end up buying stupid stuff instead like jar olives that I may only eat 4 or 5 of and then they sit in the fridge forever!

but don't worry. Put the list on your cellphone because it is always easy to remember to take that with you so you dont have to remember notes anymore. Problem solved .

Yeah, I do, but by having had written it down before, I can usually remember it. I close my eyes and picture what the list looked like.

yes it does all the time....and when i get to the store realizing what i forgot..it takes me like forever to try to remember what i needed and i end up bringing everythiing that i didnt need! lol never go to a grocery store hungry or without eating a light snack...you'll end up buying tons of junk food lol

Sure! If someone is home, I just call 'em on the cell and get an update. If no one is home, I punt. It's amazing what you can bring home without a list.
