i would be more embarrassed going to the store with 8 little kids. in a rusted out pinto. paying for the milk with food stamps.

There's nothing to be embarrassed or ashamed about. I personally believe in abstinence, however for those who aren't practicing it, I applaud those who go to purchase condoms to be safe and protect themselves from S.T.D's & such.
Just two weeks ago my hubby and I went to the store to purchase some flavored condoms (it was something that came up in the Pastors Wives Brunch I had at my house) because I was curious...
People were looking, and stopping to talk to Pastor and when they saw them in the basket they blushed, and all this kind of stuff. I wasn't embarrased or ashamed, quite the opposite. It was something I wanted to experience with my husband, so we did, end of story.

I've been married for 8 years and yes my husband and i don't like to buy condoms (i think it has more to do with a privacy issues than real embarrassment

NOPE, I love going to walmart and buying a box of Trojan XL Magnums for 6.99!!!!
