You probably could.....but would recommend that you wait 72hours instead of 48, and use warm salt water instead of oral antiseptic. The antiseptic would be a little too strong right off the bat. Use the warm salt water for a couple of days, then water down the antiseptic for a couple of days. After that.....use what you want.

You didn't give the name of the oral rinse that you are talking about but yes it is fine to rinse your mouth. I usually tell patients to begin rinsing the next day.

Yes, you can its going to hurt. Remember no smoking or sucking on a straw. Just follow the directions your dentist gave you. If not your breath is going to reak and become infected.

Please, don't follow any advice you get here. Call your Doctor or the nurse in his office and get good information straight from the horses mouth. All too often all that shows up around here is the other end of the horse.
