to pierce your tongue?i want to get it done.when im older of course.but,what happens when its done?

The experience isn't painful if they use novacaine to numb it. Not every place will do that though. They would have to have like a dental license to use the drug. But anyways, your tongue will swell up and you'll be talkin' funny for a few days. And eating will be a bit difficult. You might want to stick with soft foods at first. They'll tell you to take it easy for a few weeks. No kissing,smoking, playing with the jewelry. But after it's healed(4-6 weeks) you'll be good to go and able to enjoy all it's benefits. But make sure you do a little research first and check out the place. You don't want someone who doesn't know what their doing to pierce your tongue in the wrong spot. Cause that can cause some problems.

My daughter had it done about 10 years ago, still wears the tongue stud. According to her, it was a little uncomfortable. She has chipped a few teeth because of it though.

For a short time. A friend of mine had her tongue pierce. I personally think it's tacky.

i acutally got mine knumbed it was a wonderful thing it didnt swell or nething but everyone is different the clamp hurt more then the actually piercing

Ever bite your tongue?.... I would think this would be worse and the pain probably last longer.

I hear that when/if you remove it, the hole will close up.
