if you can't afford a psychiatrist to prescribe your condition where can you go to get help? I need to find out why i do the things i do but i can't afford the psychiatrist route.

CONTACT YOUR LOCAL MENTAL HEALTH CENTER OR CLINIC. IF YOU CAN NOT AFFORD TREATMENT THEY WILL GET YOU SET UP WITH SOCIAL SERVICES OR MOST WILL ACCEPT PAYMENT ON A SLIDING SCALE BASED ON INCOME. GOOD LUCK...DODA

Some communities have a free health clinic. Maybe your city health department can guide you. Is there a teaching hospital near you? They can help. Or Look up the American Psychiatric Association.com on the internet They can help,too.

it might not be a bad idea to go to your reg doctor, he or she maybe able to give you samples of the meds you need. or maybe you could write to the company that makes the meds, some companies will give your meds to you free, if you qualify, also check your local welfare office to see if u might qualify to get medical service,or again check on local churches to see if they can help also salvation army maybe able to help, never know but these service are out here, you just have to search. good luck to you and i hope things go well for you.

u can ususally find doctors that will see u based on ur income...call around and if u can be seen go to the doctor, explain ur situation and have him write a note saying u need to get a state medical card that way u can apply for one and they cant refuse u. i have a medical card and it covers all of my prescriptions.

hospital have the answer in a charity care program. it is very easy to apply in most instants and you will not regret it. Find out about it in your local hospital and there you go.
