Drop one coin and watch it fall. Do this again. Hold out the third coin.

If you were to do this again, what do you think would happen? If you could get ten good Christians to pray that this next coin wouldn’t fall, would it still fall? How about one thousand faithful Muslims? How about one billion people of any faith? I think that it would still fall. Drop the third coin.

Our understanding of the world around us, and our abilities to predict what will happen are based on naturalism — the basis of science. Naturalism is how all people live their lives most of the time.

Good science project! That would be a fun project to do a write up about!

Actually if everyone on this earth prayed that the third coin would not fall, God as I know him would turn away and ponder the stupidity of the humans he created. God gave us gravity, why would he reverse gravity to prove he is God? God does not play games and neither is he the master of confusion.

I think you are mixing up prayer as something you can do with selfish and thoughtless intent. That is not what prayer is all about by any means. Prayer is a special time, anywhere, anytime. You might pray and ask for something and not get it and the reason for that is, what you asked for was not a part of Gods plan for you.

You can drop all the coins you want but you cannot and will not ever decieve God.

I would think that any one of those religions would have better things to be praying about than a stupid coin hovering in mid-air. If you were dropped, would you fall. Probably, but you never know till you've tried it. Maybe you were dropped as a baby on your head. Science is great, but the laws that govern it are not always trustworthy and the maker of those laws is who you need to know.

yes the coin would still fall. SO WHAT! the bible was NOT writen as a book of scicnce. but totell us how to have a better life. and even if the bible is not true ( i beleve it is, but let just pretend that its not) i would rather live my life trying to be better, and to model my life after the Christ in the bible, then to live my life just for my self and be miserable the whole time.

There is no one true religion- there is only God.

All religions are man made
and they are made so that man can relate in a mortal way to God.

God is of infinite intelligence
God is Omniscient
God is Omnipresent.
God is not a person nor persons he does not have a human form nor a human way of thinking.

Now man has several languages and cultures and man has several levels of intelligence and civilization. We have people still living in caves and eating dung, and we have people with Ipods and balckberries and laptops.

Now do think Infinite intelligence would make only one religion to reach all of us- over thousands of years ., do you think God would attempt to have a very specific message or a broad based message that anyone can undertsand and assimilate.?

Love your neighbor as you love yourself.
Love God and acknowlege him in all things.

simple , easy, and something a caveman can use.

Think about it, use your brain.....

hope this helps

Jesus told Satan, while Satan was tempting Christ in the wilderness, do not test God.
