Like a lot of people said here... you may think you need one in your room but you don't. And you shouldnt be trying to convince her... work your a$$ off and earn it... and i hope that you aren't thinking your parents are going to buy it... you need to save up and buy it yourself. But like i said... you are going to spend a lot of time in your room if you have a tv.

i agree with iluveaglesfootball but i have one anyway. all i did was beg and had my parents let me try it out for a bit. just say that if you're in there for too long they can take it away. after a while they forget and then you can watch for as long as you want.

You don't need a tv in your room. I know you think you "need" one. There are more things to do than watch tv.

I don't think u need to convince her, you need to earn it. Negotiate or make deals with her . Show her that your r serious and will stand by your word.

I wasn't allowed to have one in my room growing up, nor a phone. But, you'll get over it.

She is not saying it to be mean, eventually you will see that, maybe she just wants to have what time you do have together... together, not in separate rooms.
