I am turning 18 soon, and I have an uncontrollable crush on a man in his mid-thirties. Since I know nothing at all about male psychology, I was hoping that someone who knows might be able to answer this. Is it possible for a man (in his mid thirties) to have any kind of interest in an 18-year-old girl, or would he be way out of my league? Would you personally ever get involved with an 18-year-old?
Thanks.

A crush is just that my dear a crush. he is too old for you and you wouldnt have anything in common except maybe the sex, and that will get old after a while, shoot for someone no more than 10 years your senior and you should be fine. Good Luck! I personally wouldnt get involved with someone 18 because I have daughters your age.

I was involved with a woman who was 18 when I was 29. The sex was great, but the maturity level of the woman was terrible. We were only together for 8 months. If you do get in a relationship, make sure you are on the same level, otherwise I would have to say that it is going to be difficult to maintain.

I am 46 now when i was 42 i had a relationship with a 20 year old,she was more mature and our relationship was the best that i have ever had with anyone age did not mean anything with us,we shared a lot of love, she passed away from being sick a short while there was nothing they could do to save her,but to this day our love i know has never died,so you go with what you feel, because life can be short, and you do not wanna go around all of your life saying well what would of happened if I ___________________________

I'ld go for a 18 year old, but it would be for just sex. 30+ and 18 while legal is not really a good combo for a relationship. You still have some growing to do that he has already done. There is a generation gap that is going to be really hard to get over.

Some guys would, others wouldn't. It depends on the guy. But don't expect it to work out or last very long. Your interests would be way too different just because of the age difference. You probably listen to the latest, hottest rock bands. Does he? Most guys that age don't. I am 37 and the rock I listen to is stuff you have probably never heard of; the stuff I grew up listening to. Trust me when I say that it would be like dating your father for you and it would get old fast.

The only interest he will most likely have is sex and control. From what I've seen, guys dating girls soo much younger than them like this guy you speak of, do it only to use you regardless of how nice they may seem to you. Veeeeeeeeeeery rarely will a guy with that much age difference want something real.

I did
It was great for awhile (2yrs)
but she couldn't go to bars and clubs with me
and that caused some difficulties
I broke it off with her after I convinced to go to college and pursue her dreams
