Check with the country you are taking your dog to. Some countries require the immunization shops to be more than three months prior to travel other wise they have to be quarantined. You must have the proper documents for your dog e.g. immunization booklet with the history of shots, what for shots, and signed by the Vet. On the day of the flight, do not feed your dog or let it have any water before you depart...otherwise they will probably get sick or mess their cage. It would be a good idea to give your dog a sedative an hour or so before you leave, some airlines do this as well, so check with them as well as the destination country for all the requirements.

It probably depends on what country you are coming from and if you got the dog there. My wife wanted to bring a pet bird home from Germany, it had to be in quarantine for a month and it cost $700 total with the baggage fee. (And that was in '94.)

It in all threat relies upon on what united states you're coming from and in case you acquire the dogs there. My spouse had to deliver a puppy chicken domicile from Germany, it had to be in quarantine for a month and it value $seven-hundred finished with the bags value. (And that replaced into in 'ninety 4.)

depending on what airline u use, you should call and ask them if u are allowed to. if u are then specify on how small the dog has to be in order to be in the plane. also some airlines will want to know how obedient the dog is (aka does the dog bark much)
Have a fun jouney!

you need to check with the carrier. Also, if it is a big dog and you have to put it in the storage under the plane, then it's best not to travel when it's hot.

If you are returning to the country you are coming from, I would not bring the dog. He will have to quarantined when you bring him here for a certain number of days.

your dog would be happier at a boarding kennel....Its much better than the cargo storage hole on a plane.

yes you can...but you have to have shots up to date for one thing....check with a travel agent to see what else has to be done...Pets usually travel in a cargo hold...Very stressful for them...they sometimes don't survive a trip like that...sorry............
