Its not part of the job description, teachers deserve more respect than that. If this is true it shows that America does not value education, does not value teachers. and it is cutting its own throat thinking that way.

I should hope that never happens. As far as I remember, that is not part of the job description unless you liken the students to dirty toilets that need cleaning and then I follow you. Teachers already give their lives to their students in order to make them better and don't usually get paid for "overtime." I am a teacher and would not be happy to have to do work that would take me away from my class preparations.

The teachers clean the toilets because they've had to cut costs on janitorial help? or the students clean toilets as a disciplinary thing?

I'd have to get a SERIOUS raise to do that. I don't like to clean up after the kids in the first place, let alone cleaning the toilets at school!

Since when do the teachers have to clean the toilets???? This is nothing I have EVER heard of. If you are at a public school I would venture to say that it is against your contract to have to do that any way...

Hey sounds like you have never gone to school you nerd. Or maybe you were kept back too much and now you hold a grudge. Dont worry, someday you will graduate. Even though it seems you wont because your probably 38 and still in the 6th grade.

What is it with you and the toilet thing? Can you not keep your head out of the toilet bowl? If you must be in it, at least clean it.

That went out with the Pioneer days. We just grade papers, attend meetings and professional development workshops, confer with students and parents, tutor students, construct materials necessary for class, etc. in our SPARE time!

You must have a toilet fetish. You also appear to have a crush on teachers.
