I talking about the so called 7 capital or deadly sins:
Pride-Greed-Lust-Envy-Gluttony-Wrath-Sloth

I've broken all of these, oh well. Live and Live

How about the 10 Commandments:
1)I am the LORD your God who brought you out of the land of Egypt, from the house of slavery. Thou shalt have no other gods before Me.
2)Do not make a sculpted image or any likeness of what is in the heavens above.
3)Thou shalt not swear falsely by the name of the LORD
4)Remember the Sabbath day and keep it holy
5)Thou shalt honor your father and your mother
6)Thou shalt not murder
7)Thou shalt not commit adultery
8)Thou shalt not steal
9)Thou shalt not bear false witness against your neighbor
10)Thou shalt not covet your neighbor's house

I believe I've did 5 out of the 10,Dear God what Have I done? I put money ahead of him, there are some good looking neighbors where I live. Just taking staples from work count? Little white lie here and there, never hurt anyone.

So how many have you did?
I'm Atheist.

Let's see:
Pride.......guilty
Greed.....guilty
Lust........guilty
Envy.......guilty
Gluttony..guilty
Not doing so well, so far....
Hmmm.....
1)I am the LORD your God who brought you out of the land of Egypt, from the house of slavery. Thou shalt have no other gods before Me. .... I'm afraid there are things in my life that I have put before God at times...like my kids
2)Do not make a sculpted image or any likeness of what is in the heavens above. ... I can honestly say I've never worshiped any such image, which is the thrust of this commandment
3)Thou shalt not swear falsely by the name of the LORD... Does it count if you meant the oath when you made it, but circumstances changed and you couldn't keep it?
4)Remember the Sabbath day and keep it holy
I have worked on Saturday...I'm a mother
5)Thou shalt honor your father and your mother
I have not always honored my parents
6)Thou shalt not murder
Whew...well, I've never killed anyone, so there's one for me!!
7)Thou shalt not commit adultery
I don't want to talk about this one!
8)Thou shalt not steal
Those staples!!
9)Thou shalt not bear false witness against your neighbor
Oops
10)Thou shalt not covet your neighbor's house
Done this one too

So, I've committed seven out of seven of the seven deadly sins
and eight out of ten of the ten commandments...and I'm a Christian...
I'd be in really rough shape, here
If it weren't for Jesus....

All religions are man made
and they are made so that man can relate in a mortal way to God.

God is of infinite intelligence
God is Omniscient
God is Omnipresent.
God is not a person nor persons he does not have a human form nor a human way of thinking.

Now man has several languages and cultures and man has several levels of intelligence and civilization. We have people still living in caves and eating dung, and we have people with Ipods and balckberries and laptops.

Now do think Infinite intelligence would make only one religion to reach all of us- over thousands of years ., do you think God would attempt to have a very specific message or a broad based message that anyone can undertsand and assimilate.?

Love your neighbor as you love yourself.
Love God and acknowlege him in all things.

simple , easy, and something a caveman can use.

Think about it, use your brain.....

hope this helps

Number 10 is supposed to be wife... I see you changed it for prosperity sake.

I have broken all of them... Including the wife thing. Tee hee.

** I murdered a hampster and a bird once. In cold blood. But they don't count because the bird was an accident and I was trying to put the hampster out of its misery because it had a brain tumor.

Seriously...
