why is it when someone farts people don't run but stand their and smell it?

people are so weird because i always ruin or move to another room a safe distance away WHAT ABOUT YOU?

Nobody gives a month's notice to fart!! It comes involuntarily to them. When that happens you wont get time to go anywhere and escape. What is the use of running away if the bomb has already exploded? Just wait(smell) to see that it is hydrigen sulphide type or no smell type..If its altter, you are fairly safe.If it is former, your nose will be insensitive for the next farts!!

You might run to another room but you and I both know you stand there long enough to get a whiff....you want to smell it. Its like if someone says to you "I farted..." you know you will stand there and take in a breath and say "Yea! You did!"

whenever the wife farts, i get up and flee to another room because it stinks. She gets mad and counters with "i don't run when you fart". My answer is always either "that must mean my farts have a flowery smell" or "i'm not stupid".
